Happy November! I hope you all are enjoying the crisp air and fall colours as much as I have been.
If you follow me on social media you will know that I have been very quiet over the past few weeks. A mix of a super busy schedule, a family bereavement, planning a friend's wedding, and travelling, on top of client projects has meant social silence.
The silence, however, does not mean artwork has stopped being made. It’s been quite the opposite!
I recently finished an exciting project for Swindon City of Sanctuary’s Month of Welcome in November (which I can’t share yet, but am looking forward to revealing soon!)
I have also had my head down, working on the finishing touches of a children’s book which will be released in Spring 2023 (hopefully I’ll be able to share that with you soon as well!).
Finally I have been working with a mission organisation to create illustrations which will feature in an informational video. (I can’t share this one with you yet either, but I’ll definitely keep you posted!)
It seems there are more secrets this month than exciting reveals which is a huge bummer, but I promise the reveals are coming! :D
Here’s a couple things I CAN share with you:
Because most of the work I do is digital, I sometimes struggle to make time to use traditional mediums- but NOT anymore!
I was given some beautiful dahlias by a friend who is a self-proclaimed dahlia expert (which is very cool).
Paper, pencils, watercolours, and VOILA!
Also, if you’re interested in buying Christmas presents for the children in your life this year, here are some fabulous options. I’m not biased or anything but…
The Funky Peacock- HERE
Tina The Rock Hard Robin - HERE
Theo the Mouse - HERE
Finn McCool and the Giant’s Causeway - HERE
Well, that’s all for now. If you have any questions, want to collaborate, or just want to chat, my inbox is open to you :)
Wishing you all a wonderful November & a very Happy Thanksgiving!
